Indications

  • Grade 2 Spondylolysis/spondylolisthesis
  • Facet joint syndrome (moderately severe manifestation)
  • Moderately severe (pseudo)radicular low back pain/moderately severe sciatica
  • Lumbar spinal canal stenosis (conservative, postoperative treatment) (moderately severe manifestation)
  • Moderately severe degeneration/spinal muscle insufficiency
  • Post-prolapse (conservative, postoperative treatment) (moderately severe manifestation)
  • Discectomy (moderately severe manifestation)
  • Postoperative treatment, e.g. spondylodesis

        Features

              Mechanism of action

              • The spine is stabilized and relieved thanks to the Spinova mesh material, the pull-strap system, and the lumbar pad.
              • Integrated spring steel rods provide additional stabilization and straightening in accordance with the Lindemann corset.
              • By using an additional abdominal pad, abdominal pressure on the lumbar spine is increased.

                  • The modular design of Spinova Support Plus Classic allows for controlled therapy according to an individually adaptable two-stage treatment scheme.

                  Stage 1: Stabilization phase

                  • For effective postoperative or initial conservative segment correction, the orthosis is used with a lumbar pad.

                  Stage 2: Mobilization phase

                  • As recovery progresses, the lumbar pad is removed to allow movement. The corset stays integrated into the orthosis provide the next possible level of movement while performing stabilization appropriate to the indications.
                  • Depending on the indications, the Spinova Support Plus Classic orthosis can be re-equipped with stays and padding at any time.
