DESCRIPTION

Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.09%. Also contains hyaluronic acid. Perio plus Support toothpaste does not contain the foaming agent SLS, so it does not reduce the effect of chlorhexidine mouthwash.

CHX and nature

Dentists have been prescribing chlorhexidine for almost 70 years, and for good reason – it works. In addition to CHX digluconate, Perio plus contains natural bioflavonoids derived from bitter oranges (Citrus aurantium amara), also known as Citrox^®.

Even stronger effect

Citrox^® enhances the antibacterial effect of CHX. Perio plus, combining Citrox^® and CHX digluconate, has been shown to be particularly effective.

Introducing the Citrox^® / P formula

Citrox^® is derived from natural ingredients. It is a natural bioflavonoid extracted from bitter oranges (Citrus aurantium amara) and is highly effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi. To ensure it adheres well to teeth, gums and oral mucosa and provides a long-lasting effect, it is combined with another natural ingredient – polylysine amino acids – to form the Citrox^®/P formula.

Good taste that doesn't affect taste perception

Perio plus tastes good, thanks to Citrox^® and a flavour developed by Givaudan's flavour experts. In addition, Perio plus does not affect your sense of taste: from orange juice to pizza - everything tastes as it should.

Tips for reducing staining

During Perio plus use, avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry and saffron. This will minimize tooth discoloration. Brush your teeth thoroughly with a toothbrush and consider using a whitening toothpaste, such as one from our "Black is white" or "Be you" range. Dental professionals will easily remove any staining.

Hyaluronic acid is particularly recommended after surgery. It regulates moisture levels, promotes cell growth and accelerates regeneration. Therefore, some Perio plus products contain hyaluronic acid.

Attention!

Use Perio plus or other CHX mouthwashes only on the recommendation of your dentist. Under normal circumstances, this product is not necessary – a toothbrush and interdental brushes are sufficient for cleaning teeth, gums and oral mucosa. Always follow your dentist's instructions.
