The anatomically shaped knit of GenuTrain has a relief structure. The structured surface increases the support application area. In direct contact with the skin, its adhesion is better than a flat, smooth surface. This improves the position of GenuTrain during movement. The better the support fits, the higher its wearing comfort, as well as its pain-relieving and stabilizing effect.

The knee brace does not cause discomfort and does not limit the knee flexion function.

Pressure, as irritations overlap, reduces the local sensation of pain on the contact surface. The alternating pressure massage during movements promotes better blood circulation in the tissues, which reduces the pain.

Mechanical irritations on the skin caused by pressure and stretch activate the knee proprioceptors. They provide greater control of the joint-stabilizing muscles and improve gait.

The knit is different in the upper. The wide spaces between the stitches make it softer and more breathable. It makes bending and stretching more comfortable, evens out the heavier sweating characteristic of this area and helps to avoid irritating the sensitive area.

Omega+ cushion

The new Omega pad with pressure pads will relieve sprain pain faster and promote healing. The viscoelastic pad massages during movement, transferring pressure from the patella to the surrounding tissues.

The new generation Omega+ Pad Hoffa points and meniscus wings have another harder component embedded in the elastic material. With its help, as the shape of the pad changes during movement, the moving massage nodules create pinpoint irritation.

Hoops

The new hoops are made of robust, durable plastic with a patented, flexible bending zone that “follows” the wearer’s movements. This allows the support to maintain better contact with the knee joint. It has integrated donning aids at the top and doffing aids at the bottom, making it easier to put on and take off.
