STABILIZING ORTHOSIS FOR SHOULDER JOINT IMMOBILIZATION IN A RESTING POSITION

Indications

Shoulder joint immobilization, for example, after shoulder surgery
Dislocated shoulder

Features

Wide loop closure allows for easy self-application and removal.
Pressure on the pelvis after applying the orthosis can be individually adjusted using tensioners.
The arm rest is supported by the pelvic strap, so a shoulder strap is not required.
Wide arm straps provide a broad area of arm protection.
The arm straps can be freely positioned on the abdominal strap, allowing for individual adjustment of the orthosis and ensuring high wearing comfort and optimal stabilization.
An additional upper arm strap fixes the shoulder in the required therapeutic position; its design allows for easy body hygiene, especially at the site of injury.
Soft material improves wearing comfort.

Mode of action

Shoulder joint immobilization at a 0-degree abduction angle, for example, to ensure specific post-operative results.
The forearm is fixed at an appropriate 90°–100° angle.
Restriction of movement ensures pain reduction.
