- Conservative therapy for ankle joint deformities
- Ankle fractures (type A according to the Weber classification)
MODE OF EFFECT
- The orthosis protects the sensorimotor system and does not allow such functional foot flexion.
- The orthosis stabilizes the apparatus of the lateral stabilizing capsular ligaments of the foot joint, primarily in combination with shoes.
CHARACTERISTICS
- AirLoc is a stabilizing orthosis with a new type of flexible shell joints. It ensures optimal adaptation to individual foot sizes and swelling.
- The artificial casings are anatomically designed and fit comfortably around the ankle joint.
- Four individually designed ties ensure a comfortable fit for the patient.
- The inflatable air cushion provides a very good adaptation to any swelling.
- The AirLoc system guarantees high stabilization of the ankle joint.
- The delicate shell shape ensures comfortable wearing in shoes.
- AirLoc offers all kinds of sizes for both right and left feet.
Application:
Airloc ankle fixation is controlled by air. The more air that is pumped into the AirLoc, the tighter the orthosis holds the ankle.
The tightness/air volume is freely controlled by the user of the orthosis as needed.
