Stabilizing orthosis to keep the knee joint in a resting position
INDICATIONS
- Preoperative, postoperative or post-traumatic, for temporary immobilization of the knee joint
- Conservative treatment of kneecap fracture
FEATURES
- The cover material is breathable and washable.
- Applying GenuLoc to a recently injured or operated knee joint is very simple with the help of adhesive straps.
- Two dorsally embedded and anatomically shaped aluminum splints can be adjusted to the desired knee angle.
- The aluminum splints are preset at a knee flexion angle of 20°.
- The adhesive strips on the sides guarantee individual adjustment to the circumference of the specific leg.
- Plastic hoops on the sides tighten the support material and adjust to the angle of the aluminum rails.
- One model fits both the right and left side.
TYPE OF EXPOSURE
- The splint holds the leg at a preset knee flexion angle, at rest.
- The knee pad increases comfort and ensures a stable position of the splint, keeping the leg at rest.
