Stabilizing orthosis for keeping the knee joint at rest
INDICATIONS
- Preoperative, postoperative or post-traumatic, for temporary immobilization of the knee joint
- Conservative treatment of patella fracture
CHARACTERISTICS
- The shell material is breathable and washable.
- Applying GenuLoc to a newly injured or operated knee joint is very easy with the help of adhesive tape.
- Two dorsally embedded and anatomically shaped aluminum splints can be adjusted to the desired knee angle.
- The aluminum splints are pre-set at a 20° high knee flexion angle.
- The adhesive strips on the sides guarantee an individual adjustment to the circumference of the specific leg.
- The plastic hoops on the sides stretch the support material and adapt to the angle of the aluminum rails.
- One model fits both right and left.
MODE OF EFFECT
- The splint holds the leg at a preset knee flexion angle, at rest.
- The heel pad increases comfort and ensures a stable position of the splint while keeping the leg at rest.
