Indications

• Irritation of the soft tissues of the knee joint, especially in gonarthrosis (chronic, post-traumatic and post-operative, base ligamentosis and tendinopathy)
• Knee pain in cases of functional instability, due to muscle imbalance
• Patellar lateralization
• Recurrent accumulation of fluid in the joints
• Knee osteoarthritis and arthritis

MODES OF ACTION

• During movement, a compression/decompression effect occurs with elements similar to friction massage, which promotes the reduction of edema and the resorption of accumulated fluid. This accelerates the healing process and reduces pain in the medial capsular ligament area.
• Stimulation of skin receptors and nerve spindles at the muscle-tendon junction supports the neuromuscular control loop. This results in muscle synchronization and activation. The vastus medialis muscle of the thigh is particularly stimulated.
• The patellar ligament is free.
• Integrated corrective straps prevent the kneecap from slipping.
