INDICATIONS

- Postoperative protection after ligament suturing/reconstruction
- Temporary stabilizing aid in post-traumatic sinus tarsi syndrome and decompensated subtalar joint instability
- A permanent stabilizing aid
TYPES OF EXPOSURE
- CaligaLoc prevents non-physiological stress situations in the subtalar joint and partially also in the ankle joint.
- An integrated elevation of the outer edge of the foot relieves the external ligaments and stabilizes the ankle against supination.
CHARACTERISTICS
- CaligaLoc is a logical continuation of the ankle splint developed at the Medical University of Hanover.
- The anatomically shaped plastic hoop can be thermoplastically adjusted if necessary. A soft, fatigue-reducing pad covers the inside of the lateral shell of the orthosis and thus increases wearing comfort.
- Anatomically shaped velcro closures ensure quick and easy donning and extra comfort.
- The orthosis can be used around the clock as a support splint in special shoes and as a night and fixation splint without shoes.
