INDICATIONS

Rapid recovery of function in the case of injuries to the external ankle ligaments (and bifurcating ligaments of the base of the foot).

Postoperative protection after ligament suturing/reconstruction

Chronic ligament weakness

Conservative treatment of severe distortions and ruptures of the ankle joint

Capsular ligament sprain

Prevention of distortions, e.g. in case of sports load

MODE OF OPERATION

The orthosis has a stabilizing effect and prevents the foot from bending to the side, without particularly interfering with normal movements.

The MalleoLoc is located antero-laterally to the joint and acts against the displacement of the talus, without restricting the range of motion of plantar flexion.

With the strap system, it is possible to smoothly adjust the degree of immobilization without limiting flexion and extension.

The plantar tab helps promote neuromuscular input, and thus the musculature stabilizes the foot joint.
